Although I primarily work in oil paint, I do find myself infusing my mark making technique with ink. What is fascinating about my process with this medium is adapting to the abrupt nature of their dry time. I typically work with Acrylic based inks, which allow me a longer drying time to create and build my work. The faster dry times of inks also enables me to build layers at a faster rate than with oil paints. The subject of my ink works range from representation to abstraction.
