About the Artist
Brie Janae Blue is a San Jose Bay Area painter born January 8, 1990 in Morgan Hill, California. Her roots in representational figure painting began as a fascination with the human condition and our temporary experience on Earth. Through her years at San Jose State University and post university, Brie became inspired by the quiet relationship between artist and material. Although an abstract painter, Brie finds inspiration from the world around her. Brie received her B.F.A from San Jose State University in May of 2016. She currently resides in San Jose with her incredible, loving partner Daniel and their three adorable cats, Stitch and Kitty “ Psycho Kitty” & Bun Bun.
